Just how time flies. In a blink of an eye, 2011 is coming to an end soon. And now, its the time for some wrapping up. The good and bad of the entire year. As much as i wish to say, i have tried many, experience many and grown ALOT!

There were many first time, such as my first school internship programme, where i got to experience how a teaching career was like. Even though i had to travel real far, i did so without grumbling a single bit. Well, i thought i would=x And then, there were this huge bunch of friends whom i get to know through internship. They were really a helpful bunch. You know when your assignments pile up like no body else’s business, they were the only one there to render whatever help they could.

I also had my first casino experience, not in Singapore but in Malaysia. 2 genting trips that marked the beginning and the end of the year. Now, i totally understand why my parents and relatives love visiting casinos. Putting winning or losing money aside, certain games are really quite exciting=x

Then, we celebrated our first year anniversary together which was a simple yet very memorable one. Despite the many quarrels we had, i have learnt to give and take. Solve them and not ignore them. It was really awesome with him around and i know i really have made the right decision=D

November was a season of love. Brother’s wedding was really the major event of the year. Despite the numerous disagreement my family had because of the preparations, i was glad my bro finally found his beau, his lifetime partner. It’s like gaining a sister all of a sudden for me. Well, there were still a lot of adjustment to do but so far everything is fine.

December was filled with festive mood. Feels good to have YJR over at my new place during christmas. We had sooooo much fun preparing and cooking. Although we flipped the recipe and cooked at the same time, our end product turned out really delicious. And now as i am typing, I am already looking forward to our annual reunion dinner this coming february with the gang.

now, towards the last of 2011, i am just hoping 2012 would be just as awesome as 2011. Reuben was telling me i should share my resolutions but really. rather than stating them down and not fulfilling it, why not summarize them towards the end of the year so you know how much you have achieved because i believe deep down in everyone’s heart, there is always a goal.

Year End Trips

Finally found my way here and wordpress is snowing once again. This december has been great. Short 4 days 3 nights genting trip with the besties and 5 days 4 nights trip to Teochew with the family. Love mini trips like this because it marks the end of a great year. Good or bad, happy or sad, fun or mundane. Whatever they may be. Embrace them and life still goes on.

Anyway, we never expect ourselves to have an overseas trip together after the last hokkaido trip some 3 to 4 years ago. Am already missing the late night talks with her=)

China Teochew 2011

Just amazed by how different this place was compared to 2 years ago. Definitely much cleaner and more hygienic. The place my grandparents used to lived and how well they kept things left behind even after their death though there were cobwebs all over.

A simple pleasure, baking with good old friends, and a steamboat get together session with the gang. what’s more with a couple of rounds of monopoly deal to end the more than perfect night.(although ivy won all the rounds)

So happy and glad that internship was officially over! yess just an hour ago like finally! *clap clap*

Its back to school in 2 days time! but i am thankful for a four day week but god take a look at my examination timing!

life was awesome, this summer

ahhh chooo! !!* blow away the dust* LOL!

3 long months and life has been great. New friends and new experiences. The gains i didnt expect myself to experience in uni. I’ve always been telling my friends how bored uni can be, because the no. of friends i have is really at my fingers tip. But as i grow i realised, that wasn’t important afterall.

But i am still glad, i got to step out of my comfort zone for good. 10 weeks was neither long or short but everyday was filled with laughter and joy thanks to them. Despite the bad comments we received, we accepted them because all of those doesnt mean its the end of the world. Having experience a total different culture for 10 weeks in a not so familar place, i’ve learnt alot, the good and bad. Now i am proud to say, its time to put a fullstop to my internship. Teaching had been great, it’s going to be one of my options but the time is definitely not here yet

all these were taken during the last 2 days credits to eugene’s camera all had been good! internship ended but the friendship remains.

And here comes the weekend.and it was absolutely awesome too! So proud and happy to see the first 2 members of YJR graduating from uni! After 3 years of studying hardship, they are finally embarking on their new chapters. Can’t wait for my turn to come!!

Teachers i salute you

Barely 2 weeks into my internship, i have already seen and learned alot. Although up till this point, i still don’t know whether teaching is really a career for me, i am gradually liking and finding this internship enriching despite the distance and no allowance =)

Being one is not as easy as you thought it would be, patience and tolerance.
